Founded in 2013, contemporary fragrance house Maison Louis Marie carries an origin story that reaches back to 1792. During the French Revolution, French botanist Louis Marie Aubert du Petit-Thouars was exiled to Madagascar and Mauritius. There, he discovered a wide range of new plant species. Two hundred years later, the modern brand pays homage to that legacy.
