Motorcycle enthusiast Shinsuke Takizawa first founded the Tokyo-based label Neighborhood in 1994. After first encountering American biker culture through 60s road movies, he found inspiration in Western subcultures, and the Neighborhood collection now spans a wide range of categories — from ready-to-wear and outdoor gear to accessories, homeware, and furniture — all carrying the aesthetics of biker culture. Leather biker jackets and selvedge denim pants channel the vintage spirit of London punk, while camping tents and accessories carry a retro sensibility. Neighborhood pieces blend naturally into everyday life and offer outstanding versatility.
