AVAVAV is a Florence-based ready-to-wear brand presenting a singular collection that uses deadstock fabrics for sustainable fashion. Creative director Beate Karlsson uses leftover materials from local warehouses to create limited-edition clothing and accessories, defined by varied color patterns, asymmetric draping, cut-outs, and pleat detail. Slacks, skirts, and tops adopt diverse silhouettes, while hand-shaped patent leather boots have earned popularity as one of the brand's signature pieces. Bringing a fresh perspective to existing design and silhouette, AVAVAV pursues art and sustainability.
