In January 2020, READYMADE designer Yuta Hosokawa and L.A.-based multi-visual artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt launched the brand ©SAINT MXXXXX (SAINT MICHAEL). Defined by graphic prints with a true vintage feel, every garment is finished with flat seams using specialized sewing machines and high-quality threads to ensure soft finishing and a comfortable fit. The garments are also full of detail — from rounded bodies and handcraft processes to dry finishing in oversized drum-style tumblers — that recreate a remarkably realistic vintage look. Specialized printing methods and dyes are used so the prints will not fade or weaken over time. The collection is filled with the details of two designers, and grows more endearing the more it is worn.
