Post Archive Faction (PAF)

Post Archive Faction (PAF) is a Korean menswear brand presented in 2018 by Lim Dongjun and Jung Sookyo, offering a singular collection that brings together futuristic outerwear and avant-garde sportswear. By deconstructing and recombining patterns, PAF models the blurred boundary between the real and the imagined, expressing a sense of otherworldliness. Refusing existing fashion classifications, the brand is composed of three lines — Left, Right, and Center — and presents experimental, artistic results. Geometric construction, pleats, and panel design come together with functional fabrics, reflective textiles, and translucent PVC to create a singular post-apocalyptic aesthetic, with pieces such as nylon slacks, down jackets, jersey tees with pleated detailing, and asymmetric zip-up fleece hoodies showcasing a one-of-a-kind personality. Calm tones of gray, black, and white emphasize the brand's countercultural, bold silhouettes — and PAF was named a 2021 LVMH Prize semifinalist, drawing further attention with its singular collections.
