Hed mayner

Hed Mayner grew up in the village of Amuka in northern Israel, began his studies at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, and went on to study fashion design at the Institut Français de la Mode in Paris. With a deep interest in military uniforms and traditional Jewish dress, he set out to express the inspiration he drew from these encounters in his design. Believing that clothing is shaped by its surroundings — and that the clothing in turn speaks of those surroundings — he says traditional dress, even when imperfect, always feels refined and noble.
