Lacoste

The Lacoste croc first took its iconic shape in 1927 by designer Robert George. A fan of customization at the time, René immediately embroidered George's croc design onto his blazer. A few years later, the Lacoste polo shirt was finally born. With the croc embroidered on the chest, Lacoste became the first brand to display a visible logo on clothing.
